Walmart Unveils Holiday Gameplan!

Walmart published a press release detailing some of their holiday plans!

This year Walmart will be offering expanded in-store pickup inventory online, and get it ready faster. That means you might be able to pick up your items on the same day rather than waiting for a few until they have your order prepared. They are planning on adding millions of items to in the coming months and hiring additional Pickup staff in every single store.

In addition, Walmart has a brand-new trick up their sleeve in the form of Holiday Helpers. The sole purpose of Holiday Helpers is to help customers check out faster. These employees are easy to spot -- they've got bright yellow vests and silly Santa hats. They'll help you find the shortest lines, open registers when needed, and run back to grab items you might have forgotten. In addition, they're armed with candy canes and other goodies to help entertain your little ones. Holiday Helpers will emerge on November 4th.

Walmart is also going to be offering exclusive deals in every category. The press release also said that they've added more Rollbacks. Remember that Roku 32" TV doorbuster from Walmart's Black Friday sale last year? That will be available for $125 throughout November and December. For the past few years now Walmart's Black Friday ad has leaked around November 10th, and we're eager to see whether these new Rollbacks and exclusive merchandise will mean extended Black Friday prices this year.
