Top Ten Walmart Black Friday 2013 Deals

Walmart has always been a top contender when it comes to Black Friday sales, but for 2014 they really stepped up their game. When you combine extended hours with lower prices, you're guaranteed a top spot in the list of go-to retailers. Walmart may be taking different approaches than usual this year, but one thing hasn't changed. They know what they're doing.

1. 50” LED HDTV (Various Brands) - $218.00

2014 seems to be the year of great TV deals, and Walmart's Black Friday ad is no exception. First on our list is the offer for a 50" 60Hz 1080p LED HDTV for just $218.00. This doorbuster will go fast, so if you're looking to get your hands on it, make sure you're in line early. Walmart opens their doors at 6PM on Thanksgiving.

Brands available vary by location. This TV is also one of the few items that includes the Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee. If it sells out between 6PM and 7PM on Thanksgiving night, and you're in line, you will be able to pay for the TV in-store and receive it before Christmas. Guaranteed.

2. Microsoft Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle + $30 Walmart Gift Card - $329.00

The console wars have continued to rage into 2014, with great bundles spearheading the efforts of all contenders. This bundle packages one of the hottest Microsoft-exclusive games of the year with a base Xbox One system and a $30 Walmart gift card, putting it just above some of the other retailers’ offers. 3. Apple iPad mini 16GB w/ Wi-Fi + $30 Walmart Gift Card - $199.00

Apple iPads have long proven themselves to be a hot gift during the holiday season. This is true now more than ever, with lower cost options like the iPad mini as well as extra bonuses from retailers giving shoppers added incentive to spring for one. Walmart beats everyone at this game by including a free $30 Walmart gift card when you purchase a 16GB iPad mini. Other major players are listing nearly the same deal, but don't offer as much on their gift cards. It goes on sale at 6PM on Thanksgiving.

4. Nabi 2 8GB Nickelodeon Edition 7” Tablet - $99.00

The lines between toys and tech continue to be blurred, with more and more tablets geared toward kids from manufacturers like LeapFrog, VTech and now newcomer Nabi. The Nabi 2 runs off of some pretty stout hardware and it operates on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The super-durable tablet features an Nvidia Tegra 3 Super 4-Plus-1 Quad-core Processor, 8GB flash storage and 1GB of RAM. Those specs are more than ample for most applications children use, now and in the future. At nearly half off, Walmart will have the lowest price by far on the Nickelodeon Edition of the tablet and they include free shipping. It will be available while supplies last at 8PM on Thanksgiving.

5. VIZIO 65" 1080p 120Hz LED Smart HDTV (D650i-B2) - $648.00

The D650i-B2 from Vizio is by far the biggest and most feature-rich HDTV available for well under $700 this Black Friday. This set is a 1-Hour Guarantee doorbuster set to go on sale at 6PM on Thanksgiving and boasts most of the bells and whistles of HDTVs that cost $500.

6. Beats by Dr. Dre Pill Portable Speakers (Assorted Colors) - $99.95

Beats speakers rarely go on sale, but Walmart has come through with the lowest price we've seen on the popular item. The portable and rechargeable Beats Pill 2.0 is the latest version of the device. It can stream music and phone calls via Bluetooth 2.1 and also has a 3.5mm aux headphone jack to connect to most audio devices. The portable speaker system includes an internal mic for speakerphone when paired with a cellphone. Colors available vary by location. This bundle with just The Last of Us and GTA V usually sells for $399.99 everywhere else. It is available online only while supplies last on Thanksgiving.

8. Samsung Galaxy Ace Style (Straight Talk Wireless Prepaid) - $29.00

This deal makes the list not because it’s the latest and greatest Android smartphone, but because it’s a highly rated and low-cost smartphone with one of the cheapest plans available. The Samsung Galaxy Ace is a huge upgrade from feature phones with no-contract nationwide coverage plans starting at just $30 a month. This is a 1-Hour Guarantee doorbuster and goes on sale at 6PM on Thanksgiving.

9. Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack - $37.00

Skylanders has become a hit by merging physical toys with digital gaming. The Trap Team Starter Pack was available for $37.00 for a short time from Walmart but has since sold out - and with good reason! It’s the lowest price by at least $10 and has high ratings across the internet. Walmart lists it in their ad release so we assume they will have more stock soon! If that doesn't happen, Toys R Us has starter packs for $37.50.

10. LG Blu-Ray Player - $35.00

This low cost LG Blu-ray player is a great gift for anyone yet to experience the thrill of HD content on their home theater.
