Our Top Ten Target Black Friday Deals

Top Ten Target Black Friday 2015 Deals

Target is firmly entrenched in the ranks of retailers that have moved Black Friday to Thanksgiving Day, as they're opening their doors at 6pm Thursday - before your turkey has even had the chance to digest. Target is doing everything they can to snap you out of your tryptophan coma and head out into the cold, as their ad has expanded to include hundreds of deals in dozens of categories across 40 pages. With such a huge amount of products featured, we have done what we do best: sort through the deals and bring your our picks of the best of what Target has to offer.

1. 55" Westinghouse 1080p LED HDTV - $249.99

Front and center of Target's Black Friday ad is the obvious choice here. Their featured 55" Westinghouse HDTV doorbuster is one of the lowest prices we've seen for an LED set of this size. Little else is known about this TV, and all signs point to this set being a special Black Friday SKU, so details including the number of HDMI ports or refresh rate are unavailable. But when you consider that Target won our 55" category pick last year with a set that was $150 more than this deal, it's a no brainer even if the details are scarce.

2. Xbox One 500GB Gears of War Bundle w/ $60 Gift Card - $299.99

The battle for the best Xbox One bundle seems to be one of the most hotly contested items this Black Friday, with nearly every retailer offering some combination of freebies or gift cards to get this console into the hands of shoppers. Target has got one of the best deals out there, with a $299 price tag and a $60 gift card tossed in to sweeten the deal. While you're at Target, check out page 13 of their ad to get your hands on some discounted Xbox One games to accompany this bundle under the tree.

3. Element 55" 4k Smart HDTV - $399.99

Shoppers wanting to future-proof their HDTV purchase can find a great bargain on page 7 of the Target ad, where the Element 55" 4K HDTV is prominently featured for the low price of $399.99. For a 4K set that includes smart features like Netflix and Hulu streaming, this price is nearly unheard of, even if other details are nowhere to be found on this special Black Friday SKU.

4. Apple iPad & Apple Watch Gift Card Deals

Since Apple has historically been known as a bit of a Scrooge, it has always been up to retailers to entice shoppers to purchase Apple products. Target is offering some of the best and most all-encompassing deals on iPads we've ever seen, by throwing in gift cards ranging from $80-$150 on iPad Air, Air 2, Mini2, and Mini 4 iPads - including all storage sizes. Target didn't stop there, and is one of the first retailers to offer a significant incentive to buy the new Apple Watch by tossing in a $100 gift card with purchase.

5. Nikon D3300 DSLR Bundle - $499.99

The battle of Nikon versus Canon rages on in the pages of Target's Black Friday ad. And while the Canon T5 found on the last page of Target's ad may have a lower price tag, we feel the Nikon D3300 DSLR bundle found on page 10 offers the most bang for your buck, and is destined to be featured in the overall digital camera picks for this year. For entry-level DSLRs, the Nikon D3300 stands head and shoulders above the T5, offering a 24MP sensor, 5FPS burst shooting, 60FPS 1080p video recording, and an expanded ISO range - besting the T5 every step of the way.

6. Samsung 60" Smart HDTV UN60J6200 - $697.00

Many shoppers hunting for an HDTV on Black Friday choose to forgo the least expensive doorbusters in favor of a larger, more fully-featured set from a top-name manufacturer. If this sounds familiar, page 6 of Target's ad has something right up your alley in the Samsung 60" Smart HDTV for $697. If the peace of mind that comes with avoiding a special Black Friday SKU isn't enough, the stellar reviews from thousands of shoppers across many major retail sites should seal the deal on this 1080p, 120Hz HDTV with smart features and 2 HDMI ports.

7. Pebble Time - $129.99

Android users who want to get into the fun of discounted smart watches on Black Friday can look no further than page 11 of Target's ad. There you'll find one of the best smart watches on the market at one of the best prices we've ever seen. The $129.99 Pebble Time's claim to fame is its simplicity and battery-sipping e-ink display that offers longer battery life and better readability than any smart watch on the market. iOS users can rejoice as well, since the Pebble Time is fully compatible with iPhones.

8. Guitar Hero Live (Xbox One/360, PlayStation 4/3, Wii U) - $59.00

Love 'em or hate 'em, plastic instruments and the dreams of rock stardom that accompany them are back! And if your shopping list includes a gift for a gamer with blisters on their fingers, the $59 Guitar Hero Live bundle for $59 at Target is a bargain not to be missed. Even Peter Frampton would feel like we do about the $40 discount on this new-release instrument and game bundle, which is available for all current and last-gen home consoles (Wii excluded).

9. Faberware 20-pc. Set - $49.99

Hidden way back on page 30 of Target's Black Friday ad is one of the best all-around deals Target is offering this holiday. While it may not grab headlines, the $49.99 Faberware 20-pc. Cookware Set is a steal of a deal at a $40 discount. This set includes everything the chef in your home needs, including utensils, skillets, saucepans, and even a dutch oven - all featuring rubberized handles and non-stick coating.

10. Assorted Blu-ray / DVD Titles

A Black Friday tradition that we hope never goes out of style is major retailers discounting movies and TV shows. Target continues to carry that torch by offering some of the year's best titles for a deep discount, with one of the highest-grossing movies of all time, Jurassic World, featured front and center on page 1 for only $10 on Blu-ray. The Pitch Perfect 2 Blu-ray is featured as well. Pages 14 and 15 offer a wide selection of titles including Interstellar, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Terminator Genisys, Furious 7, American Sniper, The Lego Movie, and more. Prices range from $4-$10. No matter what kind of viewer is on your shopping list, there is a deal to be had on a movie they'll love at Target this Black Friday.
