Target Announces Online Price-Matching Policy

Target Black Friday Plans On the heels of Best Buy's announcement, Target has announced that they too will be price-matching online retailers this Holiday season.

The new policy, which goes into effect on November 1 and lasts through December 16, will allow in-store customers to price-match online retailers by simply showing an employee the online price on their smartphone. And just in case you're worried about cell service, Target plans to have free WiFi in all Target stores for the holiday season! (Target employees can also look up the product online)

Much like Best Buy, there will probably be some caveats with Target's policy (none have been mentioned yet), but this is continually great news for in-store shoppers - especially if Target honors online price-matching during Black Friday (something Best Buy is not doing).

We'll keep you updated!
