Kohl's Black Friday Game Plan 2015

Kohl's Black Friday Game Plan 2015

Kohl's has announced that once again they will be offering $15 in Kohl's cash for every $50 you spend from Monday, November 23 until Sunday, November 29, which of course includes Black Friday. Nothing new right? Well, there are a few secrets to shopping at Kohl's and we are here to share them with you.

First, make sure you are signed up for their Kohl's Yes2You Rewards program. It's free to sign up, and for every dollar you spend you earn 1 point. Once you hit 100 points you will earn a $5 reward. Stacking with the Yes2You Rewards program is the Kohl's Credit Card. Cardholders receive 12 exclusive discounts throughout the year, but is it worth it? The 30% discount that is offered at various times throughout the year, as well as free shipping codes makes having the card extremely valuable. As for Kohl's cash, although they state that you need to spend $50 to earn the $15, you actually only need to spend $48. Stores no longer accept expired Kohl's cash so make sure you check your dates; it's not a good deal if you let it expire.

Kohl's offers 4 types of discounts; Kohl's Cash/Yes2You Rewards, dollar off, percentage off, and shipping discounts. The best part is they all stack! You can generally only use one from each category at a time, however every once in a while if there's a site wide percentage, and a department percentage, they will stack. You can use up to 4 coupons when you are on a desktop, but only 2 if you use a mobile device. For example, check out this Kohl's Hot Deal that stacks offers!

Kohl's has a mobile app that is great for keeping track of your rewards, as well as coupons. If you receive a coupon in an email, or there is one online, you can almost always add the coupon to your "wallet" on the mobile app and use it in-store! A little secret? You can also use Kohl's free WiFi, and when you log into the app it will offer you a coupon. The coupon varies per user, but some have reported that they've received $5 off $25 coupons! This is perfect for Black Friday shopping, especially since you'll have plenty of time if you are waiting in line. When purchasing online you can now choose free in-store pickup, but it's only for the items that you can always pick up in-store, so most holiday exclusives and toys won't be available for free in-store pickup.

A few things we see every year at the Kohl's Black Friday sale, is an amazing deal on a KitchenAid mixer, The Big One towels and highly discounted kitchen appliances. Last year they offered a 15% Off your whole purchase coupon, as well as lowered their free shipping threshold to $50. When in-store also look at the digital price tags, if you see a small square at the top right hand corner it means it's the lowest price of the season, which is hopefully what you'll see on Black Friday.

Thanks for Visiting and Happy Shopping!
