Home Depot C&D, Radio Shack Ad Removed

Home Depot Black Friday Cease & Desist

Embracing the Halloween spirit, Home Depot sent us a "spooky" pre-emptive cease and desist letter earlier today. It's the same letter from last year, except this time they got our domain correct (it's the small things).

You'll also note that this letter is not sent from our dear friend Trish, but rather a Suzy Deering, Home Depot's new VP of Integrated Media. Trish never got back to us from last year, but Suzy represents another chance at friendship! So congratulations to Suzy on being our first Black Friday Golden T-Shirt winner; we look forward to seeing her Golden shirt submission!

Because bad things come in twos, Radio Shack has also asked us to remove their Black Friday item listing until they release their full ad next Thursday, November 10. We never like to take down Black Friday ads, but considering the current ad was only a partial 43-item list with no corresponding advertisement scan, it's not a huge loss.

We'll be sure to keep everyone updated when the Radio Shack ad is re-posted!
