$149.00

The Garmin nuvi 225W is very similar to the nuvi 255, but features a much larger 4.3" widescreen display. The extra screen real-estate will make a huge difference, as a 3.5" screen is not all that large to begin with.

We should note that the nuvi 255W is still a an excellent deal at $130 from Best Buy and Dell. At Best Buy, the extra $10 even snags you free lifetime traffic updates. If Bass Pro Shops is sold out of the nuvi 255, it's still worth picking up a 255W if your budget is stretched.

This being Black Friday, you're going to get an exponential bang for your buck. The TomTom XXL 540S from Best Buy is a $300 value for half the price. It features lane assistance, route planning, and a massive five inch screen. There's absolutely no reason not to jump at this offer in this price unless you're in need of traffic updates (which you can pay extra for and still come out ahead on) or multimedia features.
