Dedicated Black Friday Files: How Early Is Too Early?

Dedicated Black Friday Files What is the earliest you are willing to line up for Black Friday 2014? 12 hours? 24 hours? How about 3 weeks?

Thanks to Danny Cox at for bringing to our attention the story of two women in Beaumont, California who got in line 22 days before the start of Black Friday 2014. At the time, they were not even able to see the Best Buy Black Friday 2014 ad that we posted.

The Banning-Beaumont Patch quotes the women as saying: "We could have started later, but then we wouldn't be sure to get first in line. They only get a few items at the cheaper prices and it's first come, first served."

We like to think they are relying on our new optimized mobile site to access our Adscans Page to craft their Black Friday Battleplan. After all, being in line first doesn't help if the deals you really want are in a different store.

We applaud their dedication to the Black Friday 2014 cause. That Panasonic doorbuster is one of the best deals we've seen this year. We just hope they didn't have to use up all their vacation days!
