Top 10 Black Friday 2016 Deals

Top 10 Black Friday 2016 Deals

One of the most incredible aspects of Black Friday is the sheer scope of retail sales. Every store in every chain in every category of retailer has some sort of Black Friday sale, giving customers access to tens of thousands of dollars in savings on thousands of items across the nation.

The hard part about having so many choices is the overwhelming task of cutting through the hype and marketing spin and digging down to find the absolute best deals on Thanksgiving. As daunting as it may seem, the Black Friday pros at BFAds.net are always up to the task. We've been at it around the clock, analyzing every ad, researching every deal, and compiling our list of the very best Black Friday has to offer. And so, without further gilding the lily, and with no more ado, we present to you our top 10 picks for the best Black Friday deals of 2016.

10. Element or Hisense 40" 1080p HDTV (ELEFW408/40H3B) - $125.00 at Walmart

The bargain basement HDTV is one of the longest running Black Friday staples. Many shoppers look forward to Black Friday simply because they know they can get a rock bottom price on a sizable HDTV. Year in and year out, Walmart is often the place to be if you want the absolute lowest price on electronics, and this year Walmart is at it again with their no frills 40" 1080p HDTV deal. Depending on your store, you'll find either an Element or a Hisense brand HDTV with 3 HDMI ports for only $125.

9. Kohl's Cash Deals

Kohl's is back for the second year in a row to pick up the balls that other retailers have dropped. Shoppers who were disappointed to find that items on their shopping list were not discounted on Black Friday can make a Christmas miracle happen at Kohl's with their $15 Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent promotion. This deal is active from November 21st thru November 26 and Kohl's cash must be redeemed from November 27th thru December 5th. These rules may be somewhat stringent, but with the wide and all-encompassing nature of this once a year Kohl's promotion, a spot on our top 10 for the second year running is definitely merited.

8. Apple Deals – Target

No, your eyes have not glazed over from a tryptophan overdose -- Apple products have finally made our top 10. The fact that in just a few short years we have gone from never having Apple deals to having a wide variety of great discounts on an assortment of Apple products at Target is proof positive that Black Friday is the best time of year to shop for just about anything (except for Apple Watch Series 2). For starters, Target has slashed prices across the board on iPads, including a $150.99 discount on the 9.7" iPad Pro (starting at $449.99), $125.99 discount on the iPad Air 2 (starting at $274.00), and $70.20 discount on the iPad Mini 2 (starting at $199.79).

The Apple Series 2 Watch did wind up on our Worst Deals of 2016 list, but the Series 1 watch has received a substantial discount at Target, with a $71.99 discount. Finally, all Apple iPod models and storage capacities receive a 20% discount across the board.

That only leaves the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Unfortunately, there's no cash discount here, but if you purchase and activate a new iPhone 7/7 Plus at Target this Black Friday, you can take advantage of their $0 down promotion while receiving a whopping $250 Target gift card. Not bad!

7. HP 17.3" Core i5 Laptop (17-X121DX) - $369.99 at Best Buy

Making their first appearance on our top 10 list, Best Buy earns our #7 spot with their bottom dollar pricing on a max screen size laptop. For $369.99, shoppers can take home this HP laptop featuring a 7th generation Core i5-7200U dual core processor, 4GB RAM, and a 1TB hard drive. Leave extra room under that tree -- you're going to need it to nestle away this 17.3" beauty, giving the loved one on your wishlist plenty of screen real estate for productivity and entertainment.

6. Kenmore 4.5-cu.ft. Washer + 7.3-cu.ft. Dryer – 849.98 with $50 SYW Reward Points at Sears

Sears has earned a Black Friday reputation for offering the most bang for your buck with their doorbuster washer and dryer pairs. At $849.99 with $50 worth of Shop Your Way reward points, this year doesn't quite match the their low price from years past, but it's still one of the best deals around for a feature packed front loading washer and dryer set from a trusted name like Kenmore.

5. Dyson V6 Animal - $299.99 with $90 Kohl's Cash at Kohl's

Dyson is one of the most respected and most expensive names in consumer vacuums, costing more than most of their competitors but still earning endless praise from their customers who are happy to pay a bit more for Dyson's renowned quality and power. This year, one of their most popular models, the Dyson V6 Animal cordless bagless vacuum is receiving a $200 discount from a number of retailers including Target, Best Buy, Lowes, and Bed Bath and Beyond. But thanks to their $15/$50 Kohl's Cash promotion, this deal really enters the stratosphere at Kohl's, where you can lower the net price of this mobile but powerful vacuum down to only $209.99. Be advised, however, that although the Kohl's Cash promotion runs from 11/21 thru 11/26, this deal is only good on 11/24 and 11/25.

4. HP 15.6" Core i3 Laptop (15-ay192nr) - $269.99 at Office Depot

Office Depot/Officemax has got what should be considered one of the best all-around laptop deals in this 7th Generation Core i3-7100U 15.6" laptop from HP. A ample 8GB DDR4 RAM and a respectable 500GB hard drive, DVD burner, and USB 3.0 connectivity round out the impressive feature set of this notebook PC. For under $300, there just isn't a better value laptop this Black Friday.

3. Battlefield One 1TB Xbox One S Bundle with Free Controller - $299.99 at Best Buy

Best Buy earned a spot on our list last year for their 1TB Xbox One bundle, and they are back with an even better bundle for an even better price. This year, Best Buy features their special edition Battlefield One Xbox One S bundle, which includes the military green Xbox One S console, matching controller, and a copy of EA and DICE's WW1 online multiplayer shooter Battlefield One. Best Buy has has already provided a hefty discount by knocking $50 off the MSRP of this bundle, but it's the addition of a free second controller that makes this the best all-around deal on an Xbox One S console this Black Friday.

2. Sharp 55" LED 1080p Smart HDTV with Roku – (LC-55LB481U) $249.99 at Best Buy

The best Black Friday deal on a 1080p HDTV, and the second best overall deal on Black Friday can be found at Best Buy. The electronics retail giant mopped the floor with the competition this year with one of the best Black Friday values ever seen on a 1080p set. The Sharp LC-55LB481U 1080p LED HDTV features 3 HDMI ports and comes with Roku streaming features built right into the TV, giving you a robust, intuitive streaming experience right out of the box. Remember, while Best Buy opens their doors on Thursday at 5pm, this particular HDTV doesn't go on sale until Friday at 8AM.

1. Toshiba 49" 4K UHDTV w/ Chromecast $199.00 at Best Buy

4K UHDTVs made huge strides this year with Black Friday deals at every retailer in the TV business. Those strides were long enough to earn our number one spot as the best overall deal on Black Friday on this Toshiba 49" UHDTV at Best Buy. Deals this hot and prices this low are usually reserved for store brand or unknown manufacturers, but the fact that this TV is from electronics giant Toshiba and features 3 HDMI ports and integrated smart features with Chromecast, it's a perfect storm of price, brand, and function. If you're after this set, line up early, as this is bound to be one of the most sought after deals this Black Friday.
