When will we see the first 2019 Black Friday ad? It's hard to know for sure, but we've put together a handy timeline of past ad releases to help give us a good guesstimate of when to expect them. According to the 2018 Leaked Black Friday Ads timeline, we should expect to see one soon with the earliest being Harbor Freight released on October 5th last year.
Harbor Freight has been the first ad to leak for a few years, with True Value and Rite Aid following closely behind to be the first ads to leak in October!
Ads slowly trickle in from there with the biggest spike usually appearing the first week of November. In 2018, we saw Target on November 1st, and Walmart and Best Buy both leaked on November 8th. We've seen ads leak earlier and earlier every year, but generally, the big box stores tend to leak their ads around the same day.
There are only 25 days between Black Friday and Christmas this year! Start your search for items as early as you can. Some retailers may actually be offering bigger discounts before the door-buster madness begins. Everyone expects to see the biggest price drops on Black Friday, but take each "price drop" with a grain of salt and compare prices to make sure that you're getting the best deal.
Gray Thursday (or whatever nickname is given to an early sale start) keeps happening seems to be happening earlier every year. Stores are fighting to earn your dollar, and that means they are open longer and employees have less time off. Whether it's being open on Thanksgiving or not hosting a Black Friday sale at all, We will be covering all of the stores and their open/closed times.
