With only 44 days to go, we present to you our list of Black Friday 2015 store hours!
We will update this post from time to time with new confirmed store times. Please note that these hours are for brick-and-mortar locations only. For online sales, check our front page prior to the big day; we will have one huge rolling post that will be updated with live sales as they occur. You can also check individual store pages, where we will add any new information to their description as we receive it.
It is always good practice to call and check with your specific store of choice prior to Black Friday, since hours can vary by state and location!
Half Price Books was the first ad to leak this year, and the ad scan stated that stores will be opening at 9AM local time on Black Friday. We know that Half Price Books will definitely be offering 20% off storewide in their brick-and-mortar locations on Black Friday, but as of yet any online deals are unconfirmed.
We talked to Gamestop last week and confirmed what they announced today. As was the case last year, Gamestop stores will be closed on Thanksgiving, and their doors will open at 5AM local time on Black Friday. Last year, Gamestop's Black Friday ad left a lot to be desired, but according to their press release we can expect to see more and better deals this November. Our fingers are crossed.
Staples announced a couple of weeks ago that they would open their stores at 6AM on Black Friday. They also mentioned that online sales would begin on Thanksgiving, but we do not have a specific start time as of right now. We can also expect to see some extra-special deals both online and in-store this Black Friday, although further details are not known as of yet.
We have received word from a trustworthy anonymous source that Belk will be promoting a 4PM Wednesday opening time, but they will actually host Black Friday Bonus Buys on Wednesday, November 25th at 2PM! Our source also told us that stores will remain open until 10PM on Wednesday, and will re-open their doors at 6PM on Thursday night. Starting sales on Wednesday is a pretty bold move, but not necessarily a bad one. Shoppers could get a few doorbusters in and still have time to cook their turkeys! It is early in the year, so we'll see if other stores follow suit. We will confirm this rumor as soon as we get an official announcement. You heard it here first!
