Amazon No Longer Price-Matching

Amazon No Longer Price-Matching

Amazon just quietly made a change to their Price Matching policy. Effective immediately, Amazon will price match eligible TV purchases with select retailers. As for other categories, price matching is a thing of the past.

Amazon used to be one of the best in the business as far as price-matching, but with this new policy it looks like they are taking the same route as several of their competitors. There are still unofficial price matches -- for example, if a designer handbag is on sale for a hot price at eBay and Nordstrom, Amazon may meet that price. Officially, however, you won't be able to contact Amazon to price match anything except televisions.

You can click here to read more about Amazon's Low Price Guarantee on TVs, and here for a list of the qualifying retailers.
