Amazon Announces Eight Days of Holiday Deals

Amazon Announces Eight Days of Holiday Deals

Here's another sample of what Amazon has planned for shoppers this holiday season! It looks like Black Friday might be starting a week early.

Amazon announced in a press release today that holiday deals start on Friday, November 20, with new deals added as often as every five minutes for eight straight days - so keep an eye on their Black Friday Landing Page in order to not miss anything! Customers will have access to 10 coveted Deals of the Day starting at midnight on Thanksgiving, and up to 10 more on Black Friday. They can also shop limited-time Lightning Deals on thousands of sought-after products per day throughout the eight days of deals. The best way to be prepared is to get yourself an Amazon Prime membership. Amazon Prime members get free 2-day shipping, the lowest prices, and early access to select Lightning Deals. Sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime here.

There are some new features for their Black Friday sale this year. For one, there will be over 150 Lightning Deals that are only available via the Amazon App. Those deals will go live daily from 3PM to 11PM PT, beginning on Thanksgiving and continuing through Wednesday, December 9th. Prime members in select metro areas can also receive free 2-hour delivery via Prime Now.

Another exciting addition for 2015 is the "Watch A Deal" feature, which alerts shoppers when their chosen deal goes live. That's right, folks. No more anxious waiting while spamming your F5 key. The downside of this is that everyone else will get alerted to that super-hot TV doorbuster too.

Some of the hottest deals we noticed were $30 off Kindle Kids Tablet Bundles, $50 Off Xbox One and PlayStation 4: Uncharted Bundles, and up to 50% off toys from favorite brands like Barbie and Fisher-Price. Don't forget the deals from our previous post, either! The $49.99 Amazon Kindle on November 22nd is a great deal, as is the $24.99 Fire TV Stick and the $34.99 Fire Tablet that will be going live on Thanksgiving.

Amazon is notoriously elusive with details of their Black Friday sale, so if prices are missing, that is why. You can view the entire list of deals right here. We'll keep you updated with all of the latest and greatest news as it breaks!
