Introduction

This holiday season has seen multiple fresh releases. Apple has refreshed their iPad line, bringing out both a 7.9 inch tablet and a refreshed iPad with a faster processor. Google released the Nexus 7 earlier this year, and just released a 10 inch version of the tablet at a nice price (unfortunately, it’s only currently available from their Web site). Book retailers have also refreshed their tablet lines – Amazon has released a new 7-inch Kindle Fire with a higher resolution, along with an 8.9 inch Fire that also comes with built-in 4G LTE Data. Not to be left in the dust, Barnes and Noble has updated their line as well – all while offering steep discounts on their previous models.
Other tablet manufacturers haven’t sat idle either – Asus, Lenovo and many others have brought new tablets to the market, while Microsoft has entered the arena with their Surface tablet, set to run a variant of Windows 8. With the dizzying array of tablets available this holiday season (and a large amount of deals out there), making a choice can prove difficult. However, we are here to help you make your choice and find the best deals available on a tablet.
