Pattern of Usage
The first factor that needs to be considered when shopping for a tablet is the screen. Here are a few questions to start:
The biggest thing to keep in mind when looking at screen size is your pattern of usage. If you’re looking for something that will be easy to carry around, look into tablets with smaller screens. Alternately, if you’ll be putting the tablet in a backpack, a bigger screen may be the better choice. Smaller tablets will often be lighter and easier to hold, while larger tablets won’t offer the portability of their smaller counterparts. Similarly, a smaller screen may lend itself to a smaller form factor, but a larger screen will definitely make reading easier on your eyes.
- How big would you like your screen to be?
- How important are vivid colors and high screen resolution to you?
- Will you be the only person regularly viewing the tablet?
