The bag is valued at $125 and includes 9 items. It will be available in stores and online starting on November 25th and cost $30 with a $30 purchase. The tote reads "You're a lash batting blush blending colour popping eye defining utterly unique beauty." The goodies are listed below, followed by their respective MSRPs.
Toys 'R' Us has announced that their "Rewards R Us Loyalty Members" are being rewarded for being signed up for the program with "exclusive, early access to Black Friday deals on more than 100 items beginning Sunday, November 23." Without knowing exactly what items these will be, it is impossible to say what value it will provide to our users. What we can say is that this is an obvious attempt to get people to sign up for the loyalty program, providing Toys 'R' Us with a direct marketing lane to your inbox - which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The program itself offers one point for every dollar spent, and 125 points earns you a $5 'R'Us reward. They advertise that as "4% back," but you get it back in the form of a reward certificate. You can bank your points for higher value rewards, as once you print out a reward it then expires in 60 days. Even if you sign-up to bank points you can print out a reward anytime you reach a threshold level.
The real benefit in our mind is the chance of alleviating a stressful Black Friday 2014 time crunch. If you can get what you want from Toys 'R' Us early, and since they are the "the biggest toy store there is" it's likely they are a part of your BFbattleplan, then you may not need to do as much running around on Black Friday, or Thanksgiving. If you'd like to sign up for the "R" Us rewards program it is free, and you can do so here. Toys R Us will also be offering most of their deals online starting on November 26 at 10PM EST.
The other Toys 'R' Us reward to be aware of is the 'R'Us card, which offers you 10% off on Thursdays. If you can get approved, we think this might be a better route for you, as Thanksgiving will be included. So using your Toys 'R' Us card would get you 10% off purchases, plus 2 points per dollar back in the form of a Toys 'R' us reward certificate. Signing up for the card also enrolls you in the rewards program.
We have received a behind-the-scenes glance into RadioShack's Black Friday plans!
The RadioShack ad's front page features a "R Promise: Price Match Guarantee + 10% Off". RadioShack will price match only the offers on the first page of their ad, and you must have a printed ad. As an added bonus, if you don't want to waste time price matching on Black Friday, you also have 15 days to price match. Keep in mind that your printed ad must be from Black Friday. Price matching is limited to one item per customer, per day.
The pricematching policy only applies to the ad's first page, and RadioShack won't price match online offers. Lowest prices must be after all gift cards and rebates that RadioShack offers. For example, RadioShack will be offering the FitBit Flex for $99.99 with a $25 gift card, so if you find the exact same FitBit for less than $74.99 you will be able to price match.
RadioShack is on the ball and already noticed that other stores will be offering the Beats Headphones for a lower price than what they had printed in their ad. To stay in the game, they will be offering a mail-in rebate on the headphones, dropping them to $69.99. This means you won't be able to price match unless another store has them for lower than $69.99. We are hoping to find out if customers will be able to use the rebate even if they price match the headphones.
We were excited to hear more about the free smartwatch with a purchase of the LG G3. This offer is limited to the first 500 people nationwide, so if this is something you want make sure you hurry in! A pin number will print on your receipt that essentially marks your place in line. You'll need to enter the pin online and follow a redemption process in order to receive your watch.
The first 50 customers will receive a ticket for a free pair of touchscreen gloves, which will require them to checkout to actually receive the gloves. You do not have to purchase anything to get the gloves, but you will need to stand in line to check out.
Musician's Friend will begin their Black Friday sales on November 21st, and prices are good while supplies last. To take advantage of the deals you can call Musician's Friend or visit their doorbusters page.
Musician's Friend is offering free shipping with no minimum this year. They are also giving every guitar or bass a free 2-year warranty! There are few specifics given, but if it is their Gold Coverage then it is really a great benefit - especially for parents wanting to get their young child into guitar playing, since that warranty covers just about anything, including accidental damage.
